Victims of crime have the right to know about their offender’s custody status. To assist the victims of crime in Adams County a service called the “Wisconsin VINE System” was introduced which will help the victims of crime and other interested citizens. They can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of an offender and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender’s custody status changes. Coats for Kids

Adams County Coats for Kids is currently collecting used, clean, warm, child sized, coats, mittens, scarves, and hats to be distributed at Practical Cents at the date to be announced.

Drop-off locations are the Adams County Sheriff's Department, and Practical Cents during normal business hours (If you drop off at Practical Cents please let them know that the donation is for Coats for Kids). Any business wishing to sponsor a mitten tree, please contact Laurie Falash at the Adams Co. Sheriff's Dept. at 339-4276 or Carrie Allard at 339-4544.
